Our purpose and way of thinking about property has to tackle head on the environmental, technological and social challenges in the world today. I am in no doubt that this will be achieved by working with great teams and partners that think differently, push boundaries and go beyond the norm.

Successfully delivering thoughtfully designed, sustainable new communities and workplaces that re-energise and regenerate places is my passion. In my 20 years’ experience with major consultancies and developers I have advised on some of the most complex projects in the UK, working collaboratively to unlock value and realise delivery for both the public and private sector. I see a key element of effective delivery being to embed quality at every stage and to ensure all projects are at the leading edge of thinking.

These are really challenging times for the property industry, accentuating the need for both a robust and innovative approach to the way we deliver projects. Great customer experience has to be at the heart of everything we create achieved by collaborating with likeminded teams, embracing sustainability, technology and our surroundings I have over 30 years of multi sector experience working as a consultant, an investor and a developer and the one thing that hasn’t changed is the need to set up our projects for success if we are to control risk effectively, the root cause of failure. This requires strong leadership, building the right team, embedding the right culture, and providing a clear brief and route map for delivery.

I believe strongly in understanding our end users' expectations and how consumer trends influence the role and performance of buildings and places. My background across investment, asset management and development allows me to view our market from different perspectives.

Whether the economic outlook be good or bad, the one constant is the need for rigorous analysis and relevant financial structuring when considering real estate investment and development. In over twenty years, I’ve experienced everything from large scale urban regeneration to single unit investment. This experience of a broad spectrum of property finance twinned with an impartial approach allows me to provide guidance and advice to property professionals helping them to maximise the return from their opportunities.
